A new edition with a memoir of the author by H.W. Dulcken and 100 b/w text illustrations by Dalziel. Red pictorial cloth with gilt titles & vignettes. Bevelled edges. xix plus 304 pages. All edges gilt. Undated. Spine faded and rear board faded to spine edge and top edge. Top & tail of spine worn. Corners lightly worn. Boards are scuffed. Foxing to prelims and last few pages. A few grubby marks to prelims. Hinges pulled else binding tight. Contents otherwise clean.

Large oblong format. Black leather binding with gilt title to spine; borders and decorations. Blue decorated onlays to front and rear cover. Marbled endpapers. From this world to that which is to come, delivered under the similitude of a dream wherein are discovered Christian's manner of setting-out, his dangerous journey, and his safe arrival at the desired country. Edited by Godwin and Pocock. With a memoir of the author and a bibliographical notice. Illustrated by engravings in outline, and wood-cuts, from drawings by Selous. Some wear and scuffing to covers and edges. Spotting. Small splits to top of spine, with some chipping; a little loss. A few page margin creases. Foxing and browning with some margin marks to varying degrees throughout book. Triangle of surface paper damage to corner of rear pastedown.
