Almost very good condition.
Stories and rhymes. Cloth spine, pictorial front cover shows two children sat on a rock fishing. 10.25 x 7.75". Colour frontis, two-tone and b/w illustrations. Unpaginated. Spine a little bumped. Corners bumped and worn. Board edges scuffed. Bubbling to paper at top of front board. Boards are grubby. Inscription in ink to front pastedown. Couple of hinges are cracked. Some page browned. Foxing and light fingering to some pages.

Green cloth with gilt titles to front and spine and pictorial onlay to front. Full page colour illustrations and b/w illustrations throughout. First story 'When daddy's ship came home' by L.L.Weedon. Spine and corners bumped and worn. Some marks to covers. Half of pictorial onlay on front missing. Inscription in ink to front pastedown. Rear joint and some hinges beginning to crack. A few tears to inner margins and a couple to page edges. Foxing and some marks to contents.

Margin tears to a few pages. A little damp staining to rear endpaper.
