Large format. Red pictorial boards showing various children and fairy folk. Edited by Chisholm. Brazil story is Two Little Scamps and a Puppy. 14 colour plates plus b/w text illustrations. 287 pages. Spine bumped and worn, wear to edges of onlay. Bumping to corners, wear to corners and cover edges. Covers rubbed with a few light scratches. Front joint cracked next to contents page. ink inscription to front endpaper. Title page is partially detached. Small bookseller's label to front pastedown. A few fox spots and marks to contents. All plates present.

Cream spine with black titles and vignette, green pictorial front cover shows two girls chasing a boy, red title. Edited by Chisholm. 6 colour plates plus b/w text illustrations. 192 pages. Spine and corners bumped with wear. Nasty dent to lower edge of front cover and some nicks along top edge. Rear cover slightly grubby, a couple of light scratches to front cover. Text block is grubby with some foxing. Contents very good. All plates present.

White paper repair to top and tail of front joint. Some puzzles done. Grubby marks to contents.

Blue & red pictorial endpapers by Brisley. Colour plates. Full page four tone illustrations plus two tone illustrations. Spine bumped, worn and a little faded. Corners bumped and worn. Board edges rubbed. Rear board has a couple of small indents and is marked. Front is grubby and a little scratched. Front joint and some hinges are cracked. Endpapers are browned. Inscription in ink plus a pencil drawn circle to the verso of the frontis. Couple of plates (one colour and one four tone) have ragged edges. Some foxing mostly to page edges and grubby marks to contents.

Frontis is partially detached at the top and has a small tear. One plate is detached but present. Another two plates are partially detached. Erased inscription to box on front pastedown. Endpapers and page edges are browned. Some foxing and fingering.

Front cover and spine very stained and marked (damp?). Some bumping and wear to spine and corners. Small dark mark to rear cover. Joints cracked. Some pages are loose but none seem to be totally detached. Some foxing and an odd mark but most pages are clean.
