Slightly better than good condition.
Red pictorial cloth with gilt titles and flower vignette to spine and gilt titles and vignette of a girl skipping to front. 6 colour plates plus b/w illustrations. 1st item is a poem - Goodbye. One b/w plate by Wain entitled 'The Cats Party.' Spine bumped, worn and faded. Corners bumped and worn. Cover edges darkened and covers a little marked. Front and rear joints badly cracked showing webbing beneath. Some hinges cracked. One plate is loose and has ragged edges. Foxing and browning especially to prelims. A few light marks otherwise contents generally clean.

Grey cloth with pictorial front board showing children walking on stepping stones. Colour and b/w plates.First story is Our Pantomime by L.L. Weedon. Spine and corners bumped and worn. Board edges rubbed. Covers grubby and marked. Front joint cracked showing webbing below. Inscription in ink and previous owners address label to front pastedown. Name and address in ink (name has been crossed out and written in again) to front endpaper. Small tape mark to top of front endpaper. Hinges beginning to crack. Foxing and some marks throughout book. Plates all present but are foxed at margins. Some small margin tears.

Large format. Attractive colour pictorial boards and spine with front showing child in Santa suit with teddies by Christmas tree. 8 colour plates and b/w illustrations. 1 b/w illustrations of dogs playing cricket by Wain. Spine and corners bumped and rubbed. Bottom of board edges rubbed. Small prize plate stuck to front endpaper. Some marks including to endpapers otherwise contents generally clean. All plates present. Pictorial wrapper is edge worn and creased. Large tear between front panel and spine. Tear across spine and onto front panel. A few other smaller edge tears and slight loss to top and bottom of spine. Browned to verso.
