Jack Watts, an observer with RAF Bomber Command and the Desert Air Force during WWII. He successfully completed three tours and was one of the few to become a member of the select Pathfinder Force, the Winged Goldfish and Caterpillar Clubs, and the Order of the Winged Boot. A compelling recollection of how one young man successfully beat the odds of war. Cardwraps. B/w photos. 285 pages. ISBN: 1896182135. Spine sunned and rubbed at top & tail. Baron Peter Wrangel was one of the most important of the "White Generals" to fight the Red Army and one of the first officers to join the White Army against the Bolsheviks. This biography has been carefully compiled by his son. ISBN: 0850528909. Spine and corners bumped. Pale page browning, small green felt-tip pen mark to lower edge of textblock, contents otherwise clean. Dustwrapper is slightly creased to spine and a little worn to top corner of front panel.
