Bright yellow cloth with brown lettering and vignette of galleon to front. Colour frontis. 128 pages. Story taken from part of the Abbey Girls On Trial. Spine and corners bumped. Spine faded. Covers a bit grubby. Front free-endpaper has been removed, causing slight damage to inner margin of pastedown. Small brown spots affect pages 41 to 48. Some hinges cracked but binding still tight.

Prize plate to front pastedown, name and date in ink to front free-endpaper. Foxing, mainly to prelims and textblock. Price-cut wrapper is edge worn and torn with some loss to top and tail of spine.
