A story for the young in heart. Cream boards, red titles. Colour frontis plate, b/w illustrations. 255 pages. 7.5 x 5". Fourth printing. Spine and corners slightly bumped. Inscription in pencil to front free-endpaper has been erased but leaves impressions of the writing. Two page corner tips are slightly creased. One hinge is slightly cracked. Some foxing to front endpapers. Price-cut wrapper is edge rubbed and creased, faded to spine with some loss at top.

Beige cloth, red titles and illustration to front cover. 180 pages. Two-colour text illustrations throughout. Spine bumped, some very slight darkening to lower edge of front cover. Name in ink and small embossed booksellers stamp to front free-endpaper. Contents clean. Dustwrapper is browned, chipped and torn to front edge of spine with loss at top and tail of spine. There are splash marks to spine of wrapper. A nice copy of a very scarce children's book. This copy would make a wonderful gift.

Fading to top and tail of spine and some slight fading to lower cover edges. Endpapers lightly browned. Dustwrapper is edge chipped with some loss and more substantial loss to base of spine and lower edge of rear panel (1"). Dustwrapper is also slightly grubby.
