Tracing the story from the earliest days of stage coaches through the horse and electric trams to the modern buses, and describes the development and expansion of the Corporation's Transport Department until the formation of the South Yorkshire PTE. Large format. Blue boards, gilt titles. B/w photos and some colour photos. ISBN: 0903839040. Top & tail of spine lightly shelf-worn. Front free endpaper a little grubby. Text block a little grubby. Contents clean. Pictorial ustwerapper is lightly creased across top edge, lightly faded and a little scuffed.

Pictorial dustwrapper is lightly edge-rubbed, browned and scuffed, faded to spine.
