Ladybird series 401. Buff boards with square pictorial onlay to front and titles. Illustration to front is of Pen and Gwen shelling peas. Revised verses by Perring. Spine and corners bumped and worn, evidence of removal of a small label from rear cover. Inscription in ink to front free-endpaper (dated 1957). Contents clean.

Small format 6 x 5". Pictorial boards. Colour illustrations. The story of Percy and his friend Barney the Black Bear. 69 pages Wear to spine, corners and cover edges. 1/4" missing from top of spine. Covers slightly grubby and spine browned. Ink inscription to front pastedown. A couple of hinges cracked. Light browning to title page. Contents generally clean.

Very good condition in a good dustwrapper.
Polonius Penguin and his friend Petronella Puffin were bored... Large format. Pictorial boards. Colour and b/w illustrations throughout. Spine bumped, corners rubbed. Foxing to endpapers, prelims and last couple of pages, a few very faint fingermarks else contents clean. Dustwrapper is edge worn and torn with white sticky labels on verso as reinforcements. Verso of wrapper is lightly foxed.
