Very good condition in a very good dustwrapper.
A Lone Pine Story. Green boards, gilt titles and Lone Pine vignette to front. Endpapers are b/w maps of moors. 247 pages. Spine and corners bumped. Light foxing to textblock. Some pencil erasure marks to front free-endpaper. Dustwrapper is slightly edge rubbed and has a small patch of surface paper damage to front panel from removal of a label.

Marie Hartley collaborated with the late Ella Pontefract in writing and illustrating topographical books on the Yorkshire dales and the county at large. This book is a personal record of their adventures. Green cloth boards, gilt title to spine. B/w photos and illustrations, also some two-tone illustrations. Small mark to rear board, corners lightly kocked and small knock to lower horizontal edge and base of text block. Prelims browned. Text block and rear endpapers foxed. Else contents clean. Pictorial dustwrapper is edge-worn,lightly faded/browned to spine, grubby with some small foxspots, foxing to verso.
