Almost very good condition.
Red cloth spine with black titles and vignette of children reading. Pictorial front board showing children with balloons. Colour plates plus b/w and two tone illustrations by many illustrators. 112 pages including book list. First story is Birds and Bubbles. Board edges rubbed & worn. Boards scuffed and scratched. Cloth spine faded but title still bold. Browning to contents. Bookplate to front pastedown. Inscription in ink dated 1923 to free front endpaper. Plate facing page 56 is detached. Colouring, and pencil scribbles to some b/w illustrations. Hinges pulled, binding is worn but holding. Musty odour present.

Large oblong format. Red cloth spine with gilt title. Delightful 'chubby' children illustrations! Edges are worn. Spine faded. Some damp marks and general grubbiness to covers. New endpapers. Pages are lightly browned but illustrations are bright. A little damp staining to some page edges.

Large format. Cloth spine. Pictorial onlay to front cover. Edited by Strang. Colour plates, b/w and two-tone illustrations. One corner of onlay to front cover has been torn off. Spine is faded with damp stains spreading to both boards. Bumping and wear to covers and corners. Some foxing throughout. Colour plates are still very good.

Concertina board book. 6 panels, 12 illustrations. Charming colour large illustrations with accompanying text. Corners a little worn, corner of onlay to front cover missing. Patch of surface damage along edge of end panel. A little foxing. Illustrations are nice and bright. A charming copy!

Slightly better than good condition.
Timothy Peek-a-Boo decides to become a soldier. Paper boards with pictorial onlay and brown titles, 7.75 x 6.5". Illustrated endpapers. 4 plates plus b/w text illustrations. Spine reglued into place, some damage at top and bottom. Wear to corners. Some browning to cover edges and a few marks to covers and onlay. Front joint cracked with glue seeped through from spine repair showing along joint. Tiny tear to top edge of front endpaper. Half-title page browned. Some marks to contnets but many pages are clean. Last plate has marks to margin and a little wax(?) to picture. Brown spot on lower edge affects last couple of pages and endpapers.

Slight wear to top edge of 'hat' on front board. Foxing to contents and a light pencil erasure mark to title-page. A nice copy of a scarce book.

Slightly better than very good condition in a very good dustwrapper.
Large format. Blue cloth spine. Colour pictorial boards showing little gipsy character with horse and wagon. 6 vividly coloured plates plus b/w text illustrations. Book: Inscription in ink to front endpaper. Front joint cracked. Endpapers browned. Plates superb. Matching pictorial stiff card wrapper is edge-chipped, has a scratch to front, a few grubby marks and is rubbed at folds. Exceptionally rare in original wrapper.
