Almost very good condition.
Large format. Pictorial boards, cloth spine. Front cover shows two children dancing in costume. First story 'Children of the Igloo'. Colour plates & b/w text illustrations. Spine bumped and worn with nicks to cloth at ends, also darkened. Wear to corners and cover edges. Some light scratches and foxing to covers. Both joints and a few hinges cracked. Ink inscription, dated 1938, to verso of frontis. Just an odd mark/fox spot to contents. One colour plate has been stuck into place with clear tape, now yellowed.

Very good condition.
Cream cloth spine with black title and illustration. Pictorial front board shows boy watching girl make cats cradle in hands (oriental dragon on wall behind). Colour plates and illustrations, b/w text illustrations. First story is "How We Stole an Uncle From Australia". Spine and corners bumped and slightly worn. Light scratch marks to front cover. Grubby mark to verso of front free-endpaper and frontis (possibly remains of a squashed insect!). Light fingering else contents clean.

Large format. Red cloth spine with black titles and black vignette, pictorial front board shows small girl riding on shoulders of older girl. Advert to rear cover. Blue pictorial endpapers. Colour plates, two-tone and b/w text illustrations. Spine bumped with a few small, light marks. Wear to corners and cover edges. Rear cover slightly grubby. Paper covering rear joint split for 1" at top and bottom. Nick to outside edge of front endpaper. Dated ink inscription to verso of frontis. A couple of hinges cracked. Brown mark, mostly to inner margins of two pages, one of which is a two-tone illustration page. A few fox spots and fingermarks but generally clean otherwise.

Red spine with black title and vignette of a child climbing a flagpole. Pictorial board showing a girl with a red umbrella holding a doll with houses and other children in the background. Blue & red pictorial endpapers by Brisley. Colour plates. Full page four tone illustrations plus two tone illustrations. Spine bumped, worn and a little faded. Corners bumped and worn. Board edges rubbed. Rear board has a couple of small indents and is marked. Front is grubby and a little scratched. Front joint and some hinges are cracked. Endpapers are browned. Inscription in ink plus a pencil drawn circle to the verso of the frontis. Couple of plates (one colour and one four tone) have ragged edges. Some foxing mostly to page edges and grubby marks to contents.

Small patch of surface paper damage to rear board which is grubby and marked. Some scratch marks to covers. Rear joint beginning to crack. Some hinges are cracked. Light browning to endpapers. Erased pencil writing to front endpaper. Some foxing mainly to prelims and page edges. A few light marks otherwise contents are generally clean.

Colour plates plus b/w and two-tone illustrations. Spine bumped. Corners worn. Cover edges slightly rubbed. Rear cover is a bit scuffed. Name and address in ink to front pastedown. Foxing to contents (some heavy). One page corner has not been trimmed correctly during the binding process and is creased.

Attractive colour pictorial boards and spine with front showing child in Santa suit with teddies by Christmas tree. 8 colour plates and b/w illustrations. 1 b/w illustrations of dogs playing cricket by Wain. Spine and corners bumped and rubbed. Bottom of board edges rubbed. Small prize plate stuck to front endpaper. Some marks including to endpapers otherwise contents generally clean. All plates present. Pictorial wrapper is edge worn and creased. Large tear between front panel and spine. Tear across spine and onto front panel. A few other smaller edge tears and slight loss to top and bottom of spine. Browned to verso.
