Very good condition in a good dustwrapper.
Blue cloth boards with black titles to front and spine. 4 colour plates. 154 pages. 8.5 x 6". Spine and corners bumped, slight fading to top and tail of spine. Some light foxing else contents clean. Dustwrapper is grubby and worn with edge tears and some loss.

Retold from the original. Green cloth, pictorial onlay to front cover. B/w endpapers. Colour plates and b/w chapter headers and tailpieces. Spine and corners bumped and rubbed. Rear cover is lightly marked. Light page browning and fingering. A couple of pages are creased with small margin tears.

Foxing throughout. Binding is starting to become a little weak in places. Light colouring to front endpapers. All plates present.

Spine bumped, worn and grubby with a vertical crease from top to bottom. Corners and cover edges worn. Covers grubby. Rear joint and a couple of hinges cracked. Ink inscription in To box on front endpaper and 1930 written to verso of frontis. A few marks to contents but most pages are clean. A little foxing.

Colour plates. Full page four tone illustrations plus two tone illustrations. First story is A Tale of the Tinies. Spine bumped. Corners bumped and worn. Board edges a little rubbed. Bottom of rear board bumped. Rear board is a little grubby. Light scuffing/scratch marks to front board. Front joint reinforced. Rear joint and some hinges cracked. Endpapers are browned. Name and date to verso of title page. Creasing to bottom of some pages. Light foxing mainly to page edges plus some grubby marks although many pages are clean.
