Very good condition in a almost very good dustwrapper.
Emily sang as she flew around her field three times. The schoolroom had been hot, dusty and boring when Emily said 'yes' to the open window, the smell of honeysuckle, the buzzing of bees. This is the story of her escape to the wonder and magic of a late spring afternoon. Blue cloth with black titles to spine and vignette to front cover. Colour illustrations. 10.25 x 8.25". ISBN: 068413912X. Spine bumped, a little wear to spine and corners. Ink inscription to front endpaper, smudge to top corner, light stain to outside edge. Fingermark to half-title. Rest of contents clean. Dustwrapper is edge worn with a few chips and tears, spine darkened and writing faded, panels grubby, remains of small label on front panel.
