Very good condition in a very good dustwrapper.
Ladybird series 497. Cream boards with square pictorial onlay to front and titles. B/w pictorial endpapers. Colour illustrations throughout. Boards a little grubby, corners lightly rubbed. Browning to endpapers. A few marks to contents. First gathering a little loose, hinge pulled. Pictorial dustwrapper is lightly edge-rubbed with tiny amounts of loss mainly to corners, and a little scuffed.

Spine and corners bumped. Covers edge worn. White spine is slightly grubby. Some scuff marks to front cover. Inscription in ink to verso of front free-endpaper. Small ink name stamp to front free-endpaper. Some red biro annotations/markings to the play in one act - "Unbleached Calico". Some hinges pulled. Foxing, mainly to textblock.
