Cloth spine, pictorial front board showing a variety of animals looking at Raven on fence. 10 colour (chromolithograph) plates plus b/w text illustrations. 212 pages. Professionally re-backed, new spine bumped at head and tail. Covers are worn and grubby, some surface paper loss. New endpapers. Grubby fingermarks and foxing to contents. Lower corner of last page torn off (no text missing).

Almost very good condition.
Stiff card covers. Chromolithograph illustrations. Binding has possibly at one time been neatly repaired. Wear to spine. A few marks to covers, including inscription in ink to top of front cover. Inscription in ink also to title page. Some 'spotting' to illustrations - it appears that there has been some transfer of colour to text pages opposite.
