A comprehensive guide. Green cloth boards, gilt title to spine. Over 350 colour plates in total. 868 pages. ISBN: 0713639601. Top & tail of spine and lower horizontal edges rubbed. Text block grubby. Name & date in ink to front endpaper (appears to have previously belonged to Brian Sawford, a well known local naturalist). Contents otherwise clean. White pictorial dustwrapper is lightly edge-creased and has a few minor chips, closed tears, and is a little grubby.
