He found himself in Little Weirwold and takes some time to adapt to the quiet of the countryside and Tom Oakley the old man with whom he lodges. Winner of The Guardian Children's Fiction Award. Dark green boards, metallic title to spine. 304 pages. ISBN: 0722657013. Spine bumped. Foxing to textblock. Book leans to one side a little. Dustwrapper is price-cut by publisher (with 'new' price sticker above cut), is badly sunned to spine and has a small tear to top of spine.
