Very good condition in a almost very good dustwrapper.
This one-volume Morris is representative of the whole range of his genius. Mr. Cole has chosen from the verse and prose so as to show the diversity as well as the greatness of Morris as a craftsman in words. Edited by G.D.H. Cole. Brown cloth boards, gilt title to spine. Leaf & branch patterned endpapers. xxiv and 671 pages. Small blue mark to rear board. Text block browned. A few foxspots to endpapers else contents clean. Brown pictorial dustwrapper is lightly edge-worn with small chips to corners, lightly browned ot spine, closed tears to edges of rear panel, foxed.

Almost very good condition.
Oblong format. Paper covered stiff cardwraps.. Full-page colour illustrations. Spine and corners bumped, 0.5" loss to base of spine. Some marks to covers. Inscription in ink to front free-endpaper. Some foxing and fingering to page margins. Front pastedown is a bit grubby and there is evidence of erased pencil scribble to front free-endpaper.
