Light fading to rear cover which also has a couple of marks. Inlay to font cover is a little scuffed. Endpapers browned. Small mark to top of front pastedown. Inscription to verso of frontis. Heavy foxing to pages 78-80. Some light fingering.

A Coloured Picture Book For The Nursery. Containing nursery rhymes and Little Red Riding Hood plus sixteen coloured (chromolithograph) illustrations. Untearable - pages mounted on cloth. Brown decorated cloth with gilt title labels and small oval floral onlay to front cover. Large format 11.5 x 8.75". Bumping and wear to spine, corners and cover edges. Some darkening to cover edges. Onlay and gilt on front cover ribbed. A few short scratches to rear cover. Endpapers browned. Light foxing to contents but colours are bright and pages are generally clean.

Very good condition in a very good dustwrapper.
The driver of the stage-coach has been hit by a bullet. Poco and Tim Bladen search for the unknown gunman and thus become involved in a hunt for treasure in the bad lands of the Pecos country. Red boards, dark titles and vignettes to front cover and spine. Colour frontis. B/w illustrations. 217 pages. Minimal bumping to spine and corners, couple of light bumps to lower edge of front cover. Name and date in ink to front endpaper plus small ink date stamp. Front joint ever so slightly cracked. Foxing, mainly to endpapers and text block. Text pages clean. Dustwrapper is a little edge worn with small chips to base of spine. Rear panel and spine grubby/foxed, same on verso.

Wear to corners and cover edges. A few marks and scratches to covers. Pencil writing about contents to front endpaper. Some browning to endpapers, prelims and last couple of pages. Evidence of something having been stuck to rear endpaper. Contents very good.

Red cloth spine. Grey boards, pictorial onlay. Charming tipped-in colour plates plus b/w illustrations. The Jingle Books No. 2. Spine and corners bumped and worn. Covers slightly grubby and marked with lots of light scratches to onlay. Joints have been strengthened with tape, neatly done. Endpapers a bit grubby and browned. Rusty marks to pages alongside spine from staples. A couple of numbers in child's writing to verso of half-title page. A few marks to contents, some creases and a few fox spots. All plates present, small mark to frontis and last plate.
