Large format. Leather spine; raised bands to spine. B/w illustrations. Includes a fascinating History of the Bicycle. Covers are very heavily worn, with much loss of cover/top surface of leather spine. Chipping along edges of covers and scuffing/grubby marks. Foxing to outer page edges. Contents are still very good - a few pale margin marks. Joints are a bit cracked.

Very large format. Green cloth boards, gilt title. Green ribbon ties. The Flower Plates from Robert Thornton's 'The Temple of Flora' are taken from the edition of 1980 copies published by The Folio Society in 2008. They are printed on Modigliani paper by Beacon Press, Uckfield, Sussex. 29 plates in total. All plates present and immaculate. Portfolio has a slight scuff to rear board (very minor).

Spine and corners slightly bumped. Endpapers partly browned. Foxing to contents. Small booksellers sticker to front pastedown. The covers of this copy are beautifully bright and clean as the book has been protected by the scarce original dustwrapper. The dustwrapper is slightly foxed and browned to spine with slight wear.

There is a musty (tobbaco?) smell to the contents.

Covers are edge worn and a little scratched and marked. Spine worn with splits at top and tail. Ink name and address stamps to belongs to page and name and address in ink to belongs to box (also ink stamps which has been partially erased). Some hinges cracked/pulled. Small tear at inner margin of frontis. A good copy of a scarce Bonzo annual.
