Very good condition in a very good dustwrapper. Hugh Trevor-Roper was a polemicist and essayist on a range of historical topics, but particularly England in the 16th and 17th centuries and Nazi Germany. He tainted his own reputation when in old age he erroneously authenticated the forged 'Hitler Diaries'. Blue cloth boards, silver title to spine. B/w photos. xviii and 598 pages including index.
Slight lean to spine and light wear to top & tail. Text block browned and foxed. A few pale foxspots to contents, mainly to prelims and margins. Pictorial dustwrapper is lightly edge-worn and lightly scuffed to rear panel.
