Help with Login
You do not need to register at Stella & Rose's Books website to buy books - you can complete the Checkout as a Guest but at the end of the process you will be given the opportunity to create an account which allows you to save addresses and view previous online orders. Please note that our website is separate from our shop system: even if you receive email or paper lists from us, or have purchased from our shops, it does not necessarily mean that you have registered on our website.
New Customer Registration
Click on the blue "Register" button at the top right of the page, or via the online standard checkout pages Enter your details:
- Make sure you enter your email address correctly otherwise we will not be able to contact you with confirmation of your order
- Enter a unique password. Passwords that include numbers are more secure as they are not easily guessed by third parties, and should be a minimum of 6 characters.
- Enter your password again in the "Confirm password" box to make sure you have typed it correctly
Existing Customer Login
Click on the "Login" button at the top of the page and this will bring up a new pop-up window.
Enter your email address and password
- The email address you enter has to be the one associated with your Stella & Rose's Books account
- If your login is successful, your name will be displayed with a link to your account page.
Forgotten your password?
Click the 'login' button at the top of the screen and then click the 'forgot password' link. Type in the email address you used to register and we will send you an email with instructions how to reset your password. Passwords are stored in encypted format and we do not have access to your password. As a security measure, you cannot change your password for any email account other than the one you have registered with us.

From your account page you can
- view your orders
- add or amend your address details
- change your email address - for security a confirmation email will be sent to your old and new email address.
- change your password
You can pay by most major credit & debit cards and Paypal. Sorry, but we do not accept payment by Cheque.
If you are having problems with payment, please contact us and we will do what we can to resolve the issue.
For your security, credit & debit card payments are made on the secure payment pages at SagePay. SagePay, a division of Sage (UK) Limited, allows you to enter card details and receive an authorisation response without the details being seen by us. You can read more about SagePay at their website www.sagepay.com
You will be required to enter the card number, expiry date, start date (if applicable), the name of the cardholder as it appears on the card, and the security number. Please note that cards which must be physically swiped through a machine CANNOT be used online.
IMPORTANT: while on the SagePay or Paypal payment pages, you should not press the browser back button otherwise you will see an error message. It is not possible to pay using a Maestro card at Sagepay
Delivery of your order
During Checkout you will be asked to enter your shipping address and billing address (if it is different).
For delivery within UK, we offer two flat-rate options, regardless of the number of books or the value. UK Standard delivery costs £3.70 and delivery takes 1-3 business days. UK Express costs £10 and delivery is 1 business day. International shipping rates & methods depend on where you want your order sent and the value of the book(s) in your basket. Shipping costs are calculated automatically and are based on the total weight of the items in the basket. There is an option to preview shipping rates whenever you add an item to your shopping basket and at the start of the Checkout.
We will confirm dispatch of your order by email and tell you the expected delivery date and tracking number, if available.
