The Malcolm Saville Society
Malcolm Saville (1901 - 1982) is best known as an author of children's series fiction, as well as writing books on topography and nature. His principal works involved The Lone Pine club - a group of children who form a secret society in wartime Shropshire.
The Arthur Ransome Society (TARS)
TARS was formed in 1990, to celebrate and promote Arthur Ransome's life, works and spirit of adventure. Although based in the UK, TARS has members in some thirty countries, including Australia, Canada, Japan, New Zealand and the United States.
The Arthur Rackham Society was founded in 1984 to share enthusiasm and exchange information about the illustrator, as well as to encourage book collecting, the art of book illustration, and high quality in the production of children's books. The Society publishes a Journal three or four times a year.
