Very good condition in a slightly better than very good dustwrapper. The Orden Pour le Merite, or 'Blue Max' as it was popularly known, was the highest decoration that could be won by a member of the Imperial German Armed Forces in the First World War. 81 illustrated biographies of all the German airmen who won the award. Yellow cloth boards, black title to spine. B/w photos. 208 pages.
Front spine edge of boards is grubby, small patch of surface cloth missing. Contents clean. Pictorial dustwrapper is a little scuffed and slightly marked.
