Almost very good condition in a almost very good dustwrapper.
A Nonesuch Cygnet. Chosen from the Colour Fairy Books of Andrew Lang by Kathleen Lines with an epilogue by Roger Lancelyn Green. Pink cloth, gilt titles and attractive gilt swan vignette to front cover. B/w illustrations. Ex-lib with stamps to prelims and textblock and removal of labels to front endpaper. Spine bumped. Dustwrapper is edge rubbed and faded to spine.

Andrew Lang (31 March 1844 – 20 July 1912) was a Scottish poet, novelist, literary critic, and contributor to the field of anthropology. He is best known as a collector of folk and fairy tales, most notably the series of 25 collections of true and fictional stories for children published between 1889 and 1913 by Lang and his wife, Leonora Blanche Alleyne.
