Published by Pickering & Inglis Ltd..
Very good condition in a good dustwrapper. A glimpse of the heroic entry by two or three pioneers into the darkest and wildest parts of Central Africa. Blue cloth with black titles and vignette of Africa to front cover. B/w photos and text illustrations. 176 pages.
Bumping and wear to spine and corners. Bump to lower edge of front cover. A few hinges cracked. Odd mark and a few fox spot to contents but generally clean. Price-cut dustwrapper has loss, mainly from either end of spine and front panel. Has a few tears and is a little grubby.
