Nearly fine condition in a slightly better than very good dustwrapper. An account of the rockets of Congreve, Boxer and Hale taken into British service between 1805 and 1901 with details of the Rockets, Launchers, Rocket Carts, Limbers, Draught Harness and the uniforms of the British personnel engaged in rocket duties during the period. Blue cloth boards, silver title to spine. B/w illustrations and a few colour. viii and 264 pages including index.

Base of spine lightly shelf-worn else a lovely copy, appears unread. Pictorial dustwrapper is faded to spine and a little grubby.
