Very good condition in a very good dustwrapper. A short account of man's attempts to fly, of is dreams that preceded and accompanied the attempts; and of his ultimate success. Blue cloth boards, gilt title to spine. Top edge blue. B/w plates and illustrations.
Gilt to spine dull. Some minor foxing present. Top edge of text block faded. Pictorial dustwrapper is browned to spine, lightly edge-worn, with a few small foxspots.
