One of the youngest painters ever elected to the Royal Academy (an Associate at the age of 39 in 1969; a full RA in 1974) and the subject of many one-man shows, this is the first book dedicated to Fred Cuming's work as a whole. Christian Tyler has edited Cuming's autobiographical text which is illustrated with over 70 paintings and photographs, most of which are reproduced in colour. Blue boards, gilt title to spine. Oblong format.
SIGNED by Fred Cuming to half-title page with dedication. Dustwrapper is lightly edge-creased and scuffed. Minor red mark to lower edge of text block.
