Very good condition in a very good dustwrapper. A survey of its history and development in the mines of Cornwall and Devon from before 1800 to the present day, with something of its use elsewhere in Britain and abroad. Blue mottled boards, gilt title to spine. B/w photos and plans. 285 pages including index.

Light bumping to board corners. Boadrs clean. Text block a little browned with a couple of minor foxspots. Small name in coloured pencil to front endpaper. Contents otherwise clean. Pictorial dustwrapper is a little grubby.
