The author's attempts at the water speed record, the greatest success story of any young Englishman since the war. Blue cloth boards, gilt title to spine. B/w photos. Spine browned with a few foxspots, gilt title faded. Top edge of boards lightly faded. Minor foxing to text block. Contents clean. Pictorial dustwrapper is edge creased with a closed tear to top front corner, spine faded, rear panel scuffed.
