Almost very good condition in a very good dustwrapper. A detailed history of the "Wilkes and Liberty" movement and the association movement that followed it. This study is an attempt to answer certain questions about the agitation for parliamentary reform in Great Britain during the age of the American Revolution. Red cloth boards, gilt title to spine. xi and 247 pages including index.

Boards damp mottled. Text block lightly browned with some foxing. Inscription in ink to front endpaper. Front joint pulled between front endpaper and half-title page but binding is tight. Endpapers lightly browned, some browning to contents.
