Almost very good condition. Translated by C.K. Scott Moncrieff and Terence Kilmartin. Volume One contains: Swann's Way; Within a Budding Grove. Volume Two contains: The Guermantes Way; Cities of the Plain. Volume Three contains: The Captive; The Fugitive; Time Regained. Black silk moire boards with gilt title to spines and design to fronts. Top edges mauve. B/w plates.
Spines are discoloured to a red colour but gilt is still bright. Light indentations to front board of volume I. Volume I and volume III have small white marks to rear board. Text block slightly grubby. Contents are fine. Contained in publisher's silk moire slipcase which is heavily faded and scuffed.
