Very good condition in a very good dustwrapper. In October 1958 Mike Hawthorn became the first British World Champion in the history of Grand Prix racing. Three days after the manuscript of this book was delivered to the publishers Mike Hawthorn was killed on the Guildford by-pass. Burgundy cloth boards, gilt title to spine. B/w photos and track plans.
A few marks to covers. Foxing to outer page edges. Small date inscription in ink to front endpaper. Wrapper is price-cut with browning, foxing and edge-creasing.
