Very good condition in a good dustwrapper. A stirring story of one of the greatest feats in the history of aviation, told with simplicity and directness. Blue cloth boards, gilt title to spine. Maps to endpapers. B/w plates. xiv & 264 pages plus 35 page publisher adverts to rear.
Cloth spine slightly faded. Lower edge of text block has some pen marks. Light foxspots to contents. Price-cut pictorial dustwrapper is edge-creased and chipped with slight loss, 2.75" vertical loss to center of spine and 2.5" tear from base of spine, panels a little grubby.
