Very good condition in a almost very good dustwrapper. Book Club Edition. Red cloth spine with gilt title, darker red boards. Endpapers are maps showing the principal battles of the second and third Dutch wars. 368 pages. B/w plates.

Spine bumped. Name and date in ink to front free-endpaper. Textblock is foxed and grubby to top edge. Dustwrapper is worn and torn and is badly sunned to spine and edge of rear panel.
