Pictures taken from Roald Amundsen's lantern slides recording the three most important expeditions: through the North West Passage in 1903, the 1911 attainment of the South Pole, and the 1918 journey along the Siberian coast and through the North East Passage. Brown cloth baords, gilt title to spine. B/w and colour photos.
A lovely copy. Pictorial dustwrapper is scuffed.
