Slightly better than very good condition in a slightly better than very good dustwrapper. Memoirs of a Wartime Ferry Pilot. Born Rosemary Rees, the author learned to fly in 1933 and soon acquired her own aeroplane in which she toured Europe right up to the outbreak of World War II. At the end of 1939 she was selected as one of the first eight women to join the Air Transport Auxiliary. For six years she delivered every type of aeroplane from trainers to four-engined bombers.
