Nearly fine condition in a nearly fine dustwrapper. Very large format. Black cloth boards, gilt title to spine. A compelling history of the last great age of sail. lavish colour illustrations.

Some surface scuffs to cloth covering boards. Contents are excellent. Wrapper has some edge creasing, with indentation marks to rear panel.
