Almost very good condition. Forming a Complete Guide to the British Metropolis and its Environs. Text of Tallis's Illustrated London Volume II but bound in two separate volumes. Also bound in is the title and contents pages of Volume I. Modern red cloth with gilt title to spines. Retaining original gilt decorated cloth on front and rear covers of both volumes. 75 b/w plates comprising steel engravings of 109 views, including three folding plates. 304 text pages in total.
A very few spots to original covers. Foxing throughout and text pages browned. Tape repairs to edges of two folding plates, a couple of text pages and one other plate. Overall reasonable condition for age.
