Very good condition in a very good dustwrapper.
Large heavy format. Blue cloth with gilt title to spine and embossed title to front cover. Colour plates and b/w text illustrations. Includes Oxenham story "Peggy and the Brotherhood". Light bumping and wear to spine and a couple of corners. Inscriptions in ink to front endpaper. Some foxing and page browning. Scarce wrapper is foxed, with some edge-creasing and closed tears; a few small chips of loss.

Orange boards with green titles and red cloth spine. Pictorial cover showing a girl riding with another running along beside her. 16 short girls stories. B/w illustrations throughout. 3 colour plates. Cloth spine. Split to rear of spine for around 1-2"; some fraying of cloth. Scuffing to covers. Bumping to corners and cover edges. Inscription in ink to front endpaper. Foxing to endpapers and outer page edges.

Light rubbing to cover edges. Small circle of surface paper damage to top of front endpaper. Crossword to page 81 completed in pencil. Wrapper is faded to spine, edge-chipped, with a few closed tears and worn at edges.
