The authors have made an intensive exploration of the county for their re-writing of the Shell Guide to Devon. Burgundy cloth boards, gilt title to spine. B/w photos. ISBN: 0571048366. Light mottling & scuffing to boards. Text block browned. A few foxspots present. Dustwrapper is browned and edge-rubbed with slight loss of surface paper to corners, small pen mark (writing) to top of front flap.

Spiral bound inside white cloth covers. B/w photos, also b/w photos on pale green paper plates. Covers lightly browned at edges. The following words have been punch stamped as holes at the bottom of the title page 'Complimentary Copy Not for Sale' else contents fine. Pictorial wrapper is a little edge-chipped. A very nice copy of the first Faber edition.
