Light brown chequered boards, dark title to front and spine. Pictorial onlay to front board of "The Mulberry Fairy". 24 colour plates throughout. Small format, 5.5 x 4.25". Blue illustrated endpapers. Bumping to spine and corners. Pencil writing erased from title page. Pages browned. Couple of hinges are cracked. Some light foxing to verso of illustrations. Price-cut dustwrapper is edge worn and chipped. Wrapper is grubby. Foxing to verso.

A few grubby marks to contents mainly to margins.
