Very good condition in a very good dustwrapper.
This volume covers an area from the English Channel to the Humber estuary. This is the fourth and final volume which completes the Inventory of Nonconformist Chapels and Meeting-houses. The three previous volumes were published by HMSO. Large format. Red cloth with gilt titles and vignettes. B/w photos and diagrams. Royal Commission on the Historical Monuments of England. ISBN: 1873592507. From the library of Ron Brunskill (authority on the history of Architecture). SIGNED by the author with personal dedication to front endpaper. Bookplate of the Royal Commission on the Ancient and Historical Monuments and Contructions of England to front endpaper. Minor foxing to text block. Grubby marks to prelims else contents clean. Blue dustwrapper is scuffed and has foxing to verso (not visible to front). A sweet odour present.
