Slightly better than good condition.
20th year of publication. Blue spine, pictorial boards, front cover shows children dancing round a pole. 6 colour plates. B/w plates and illustrations. Pictorial endpapers. 132 pages. Spine and corners bumped and worn. Board edges scuffed and worn. Some scratches and marks to rear board. One hinge practically broken, just holding on by a few threads. Prize presentation inscription to verso of endpaper. Some small tears at inner margin. Page edges browned. A few light foxspots mainly to endpapers.

Spine and corners bumped and slightly worn. Small indentation to edge of rear cover. Prize plate to front pastedown. Light page browning throughout, some grubby marks to margins and some light foxing.
