Tiny booksellers sticker inside front cover. Front joint is reparied with white paper. Contents are browned. Contained in custom made blue cloth covered box.

Green embossed cloth with gilt title and vignette to front cover. 32 pages. 8 attractive colour plates. The story of a kitten. Bumping and wear to spine and corners. Grubby marks and uneven fading to covers. Inscription in ink to front endpaper. Creasing and a few margin tears, foxing, including to plate pages. Frontis is very creased; appears to at one time have been folded. Some damp marks. A reading copy.

Foxing and some page edge darkening throughout. A good example of the 2nd edition.
