Very good condition in a very good dustwrapper.
This legend of Dunkirk, first published during the grim days of 1941, has proved to be one of the minor classics of the war. Embellished by 4 magnificent full-colour plates plus dramatic b/w illustrations, this is a truly special edition. Royal blue cloth, with white titles amd b/w vignette to front cover. 55 pages. Light fading to top edge of spine and rear board. Neat name and date in ink to front endpaper. Couple of light rust marks to gutter of front endpaper. Contents otherwise clean. Price-cut pictorial dustwrapper is lightly chipped at corners, some scuffing to front panel, rear panel has a few closed tears and is lightly browned. Overall a lovely copy.
