Four centuries development of the English interior. Red cloth boards, gilt title to spine. Colour & b/w illustrations. Board corners bumped. Browning to front endpapers. Foxing to text block. Price-cut pictorial dustwrapper is edge worn and torn, 2" missing from base of spine, Messy repair to verso of dustwrapper with now yellowed tape.
