Very good condition.
Green cloth with gilt title to spine and bird vignette to front cover. 16 colour plates. A few light marks to covers, couple of scuffs. Inscription in ink to front endpaper. Front joint next to half-title is a bit cracked. Some foxing and a few grubby margin marks.

Almost very good condition in a almost very good dustwrapper.
Observers book No. 1. Brown cloth with black titles to spine and front. Describing two hundred and twenty-six species with 200 illustrations, 100 of which are in full colour. Damp spotting along edges of covers. Name to front endpaper. Hinge next to half-title page is partially cracked. Contents are still excellent. Wrapper has become a bit faded in places. Edge-chipped with a few tears and small pieces of loss. What looks like ink splash marks and dark brown spots, also to wrapper. Still remarkably full wrapper for its age.

All the native species and all the commoner hybrids and ointroduced species are covered together with a wide range of subspecies. Large format. 910 pages. ISBN: 0198510675. A little wear to cloth at corners. Acetate overlay is present. CD-Rom present in sleeve at rear (NOT TESTED). Light stain affecting edge of last few pages. Contents otherwise are generally clean and bright. Acetate overlay is present. Wrapper is edge creased, with a small tear, and creased across the lower part of the rear panel.

Green cloth, gilt titles to spine. A few b/w photos. 146 pages pages includes index. ISBN: 0854860908. Lower spine slightly bumped and rubbed. Bump to top edge of front cover. Pages very lightly browned else fine. Wrapper slightly worn at top of spine and a little grubby.
